Modulations exhibition

Our second show at China Heights gallery in 2007 featuring Robert Beson, Deepchild and myself.

People often say your follow up show is always difficult. There is an expectation to at least match if not better your last performance. While the robots were a lot of fun to make, they were very time consuming and very repetitive work, and while there is a craft to them, you feel essentially like a factory worker making them.

So for modulations I decided to focus on more expressive work and make a series of paintings and prints. Which from all accounts were well received, if by how many were sold is anything to go by.

Robert decided to go in a completely different Direction, building a single sculpture designed as a shoe display for a sneaker store, and Deepchild pushed his pixels further with more illustrations.
